"What is the Birthday Project?"
The Birthday Project Michigan is a volunteer ran community project. Our goal is to provide birthday celebrations to children from families struggling. Each box includes a special treat, a gift, decorations, a little bit of magic, and a whole lot of love.
These boxes are funded through donations from the community and are gifted at no cost to families facing hardship.

Requirements/Eligibility:
TO QUALIFY YOU MUST:1. Be Experiencing Hardship:
This does not have to mean jobless and broke, this could also look like: recent loss leaving you distracted, emotional upheaval, household changes that have impacted yourself or the kids, etc. Essentially: if the thought of your child's birthday fills you with stress instead of excitement, you may need us.2. Be the Primary Caretaker:
You must be the primary caretaker of the child you are applying for. This can be parent, guardian, stepparent, Foster parent, etc. but you must be the one caring for the child at least four days a week to qualify.3. Live in Our Area:
You must live in one of the following counties: (LIST OF COUNTIES HERE). We are unable to accommodate other counties at this time.((ADD MORE IF YOU HAVE THEM OR JUST DELETE THIS))
SUPPORT OUR MISSION
Every dollar donated to the Birthday Project is spent directly on children in your area. These children could be your neighbors, kids from your church, even your child's best friend.
Giving back to the community through the children who will one day be our leaders is a truly worthy investment.
